Information we collect
Information you give us
Contact details — your name, phone number and email address.
Delivery details — shipping and billing address, including PIN code and state.
Order details — the items, quantities and sizes you order, and any notes you add.
Messages — anything you send us through WhatsApp, email, or an enquiry or catalogue form.
Business details — where you buy from us wholesale, your firm name and GSTIN.
Information collected automatically
Basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you view.
Cookies and similar storage needed to keep your cart and your session working.
We never collect or store your card number, UPI ID, CVV or bank credentials. Those are entered directly with our payment provider and do not reach our servers.
How we use your information
To process, pack and deliver your orders, and to handle returns.
To confirm orders and keep you updated on their status.
To answer your enquiries and provide customer support.
To send you information about new collections and offers, where you have agreed to receive it.
To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations under Indian law.
To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the website secure.
WhatsApp messaging
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta, to send and receive messages about orders and enquiries. If you give us your phone number at checkout or through an enquiry form, we may contact you on WhatsApp to:
confirm an order you have placed and send updates on its status;
reply to an enquiry or catalogue request you have sent us;
share new collections and offers, where you have agreed to receive them.
Messages you send to our WhatsApp business number are stored on our systems so that we can respond to them and keep a record of the conversation. Messages sent over WhatsApp are also processed by Meta in accordance with its own privacy policy.
You can stop promotional messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, or by writing to gehnamfg@gmail.com. We will still send you messages that relate to an order you have already placed.
Payments
Online payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. When you pay, your card, UPI or netbanking details are collected directly by Razorpay over its own secure connection and are governed by Razorpay's privacy policy. We receive only the payment status, a transaction reference and the amount — never the underlying payment credentials.
Who we share your information with
We share your information only where it is needed to run our business:
Delivery partners — your name, address and phone number, so your order can be delivered.
Payment provider — Razorpay, to process payments and refunds.
Messaging provider — Meta, to deliver WhatsApp messages.
Hosting and infrastructure providers — who store our website and database on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
Professional advisers and government authorities — where we are required to do so by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for at least eight years, as required by Indian tax and accounting law. Contact details and message history are kept for as long as your account or relationship with us is active, and are deleted or anonymised after that unless we are required to retain them.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
erase information we no longer need to keep;
withdraw a consent you previously gave, such as consent to receive promotional messages;
nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
To make a request, email gehnamfg@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did with your information before you withdrew it, and we may still need to keep records the law requires us to keep.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our systems, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take these steps seriously we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Where a change is significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
